| Exposure Effects: Eye and Skin Contact: Primary Irritation to skin, defatting, dermatitis. Absorption through skin increases exposure. Primary irritation to eyes, redness, tearing, blurred vision. Liquid can cause eye burns and skin irritation. Wash thoroughly after handling. |

| Swallowing: Can cause irreversible nervous system damage if swallowed. Can be fatal or cause blindness if swallowed. Cannot be made non-poisonous. |
Section 7. Preventive Measures
| Handling: Isolate from oxidizers, heat, sparks, electric equipment and open flame. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Wear OHSA standar goggles or face shield, gloves, apron and footwear impervious to this material as needed. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not flame, cut, saw, drill, braze or weld empty containers. Continue all label precautions! |
| Ventilation: Avoid breathing mists and vapor. Use in well Ventilated area. In confined space, mechanical ventilation may be necessary to reduce vapor concentrations to levels below the allowable exposure limits. |
| Storage: Prevent vapor buildup. Vapors may ignite. Keep container tightly closed and upright when not in use to prevent leakage. |
| Spill or leak procedures: Stop spill at once. Dike area and contain. Clean up remainder with absorbent materials. Mop up and dispose of. Persons without proper protection should be kep from area until cleaned up. |
| Waste Disposal Method: Recycle of dispose of observing local, state and federal health, safety and pollution laws. If questions exist, contact the appropriate agencies. |
Section 8. First Aid Measures Procedure
| Eye Contact: Flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. |
| Skin Contact:
Immediately remove contaminated
clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing
before reuse. (Discard contaminated shoes.) Inhalation:. Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen and get medical attention. |
| Swallowing: Induce vomiting promptly using physician's instructions or by having patient stick finger down throat. After vomiting has been induced, give two teaspoons of baking soda in a glass of water. Call a physician. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. have patient lie down and keep warm until medical help arrives. |
